wentlive.today collects the account and product information you provide to operate the software directory.
Information we process
We store your sign-in email, account identifier, submissions, uploaded images, review evidence, payment status, badge checks, sponsor reservations, votes, comments, follows, collections, and operational history. Published product and public profile information is public. Drafts and unpublished images are restricted to their owner and authorized operators.
Providers and purposes
Supabase hosts the database, authentication, and private image storage. Vercel hosts the application. OpenAI processes website evidence and listing details for optional autofill and exact evidence extraction. TypeSafe Jev independently evaluates software fit, claim support, spam and prohibited-content risk, factual conflicts, language quality, and the appropriate review route. Uncertain results are sent to an administrator. Stripe handles hosted payments; we do not store card numbers. Resend sends transactional messages when configured.
Cookies and analytics
Authentication cookies keep you signed in. Draft text may be stored in your browser until saved or removed. We count daily listing views and outbound clicks using a daily hashed identifier; sponsor impressions and clicks use the same privacy-preserving method; raw IP addresses are not stored in our analytics tables. Deduplication hashes are removed after seven days. Aggregate counts remain. Our own audience measurement counts visits to public pages with two first-party cookies holding random identifiers: a visitor cookie that lasts 13 months and is never extended, and a session cookie that ends after 30 minutes. It keeps the page, where the visit came from, the country and the browser family, never an IP address or a raw browser string, and keeps it for 25 months. Clicks on some buttons and links on our pages (such as the listing plan or guide you pick) are counted the same anonymous way, with no personal details.
With your OK in the cookie banner, we also:
- link a visit to your wentlive.today account and to the steps you complete (sign-up, a new submission, checkout, and a paid listing or sponsorship with its amount), from the moment you accept, to see which visits lead to sign-ups, submissions and payments. Withdrawing your choice ends that link for later visits, and deleting your account removes it;
- save where your first visit came from (a Google search or a tagged campaign link, with the page you landed on) on your account, your submissions and your orders, for source and revenue statistics. Until you accept, that source is only held in the memory of the open page and nothing is written to your device; once you accept, two cookies keep it for 90 days, and declining or changing your choice deletes them.
Your choice. The cookie banner on our public pages asks before anything beyond anonymous visit counting: declining is as easy as accepting, and your choice is kept 6 months (in an sd_consent cookie, with the time you accepted in sd_consent_at) before we ask again. Declining or changing your choice also ends your current visit in our audience measurement.
Your choices
You can edit or withdraw a listing through your dashboard. Contact the operator to request account deletion, access, correction, or data export. Records required for payment, fraud prevention, or legal obligations may be retained for the applicable period.
Automated review
Website text and your listing may be assessed automatically. Uncertain cases go to an administrator. Contact us to request human review of a decision.
